Abstract

|
The free gingival autograft has been utilized routinely and has proven to be a predictable mucogingival procedure for the treatment of the soft tissue problems in peridontal fields. It has been successfully used to increase the zone of attached increase vestibular trough depth, to eliminate abnormal frenum attachments, and to cover the denuded root surfaces. The successful free autogenous gingival grafts appears to be related to the use of thin donor tissue and the preparation of recipient site. This articles presents a predictable, simplified technique for free autogenous gingival grafts and case reports which can easily be used in the treatment of mucogingival problems
